October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and here at Derby United we want to do our part to help with PREVENTING the second leading cause of deaths in women.

Join us for this one-time special event in partnership with The Keep A Breast Foundation, Fit 4 Prevention and Heart to Hand. We are thrilled to support these organizations working to better equip folx to embrace self awareness, health, wellness and action in their lives and as advocates for others.

This sparkle-themed skate party is a chance for us to join the action, learn about how we can reduce our risk for cancers, and enjoy and meet amazing women who have been brought together through either personal survivorship, the loss of a loved one, and those who passionately advocate for health, prevention, and education.

A portion of every special event ticket will be donated to the partnering organizations. Raffle baskets, donation opportunities, giveaways and special surprises are in store for this event. This outdoor open air roller skating party is a chance to go out and show out for prevention. Bring on your best sparkle lewks, your metallics, your sequins or anything that makes you shine. You'll be skating under the flashing lights to all your favorite skate jams. Live DJ, Mr. Hek, will be spinning a variety of music to bounce to including all your disco, hip hop, pop and old school favs. Sparkle chic attire is encouraged but not required.

No spectators without an event registration. Special event reservations required. Does not use a session punch card. Space is limited. No outside food or beverage. Bottled water only. Bring inlines or quads from home or use ours. Quad skate rental included at no charge.Event is at the Derby United outdoor skating facility. Temps can be cool in the evening so plan accordingly.
